Finishes - Polishing the wax

This technique applies both BOTH polished and satin matte. Why you may say? Because, we always polish your wax first, and then satin it afterwards. This helps achieve that silky smooth, matte texture!

We use these steps for every piece we make:

1. Use the red coarse sandpaper to remove straight line scratches that are typically deeper and harder to polish out.
2. Use the gold file to remove any deep scratches and start smoothing the surface.
3. Finally, use yellow sandpaper to polish the remaining bits (as shown in this video)

Top Tip: Try dipping your sandpaper in water to clean it of wax dust. The dust can be deceiving and make it look less polished than it actually is.
